BALL ALLEY

There is a ball alley up the road from my parents' house,
A quarter of a mile up the hill. It is in a state of disarray and disrepair.
I think it was built in the 19th century
And people used to gather there to play and watch the famous Gaelic game of handball.

CHARACTER

Positive thoughts
Inculcate character
Because they cause positive behavioural habits
Which in turn causes positive real and actual outcomes (technique).

FOR MY FRIENDS

I love the little pets.
They are related to me and they are family.
You to me are everything.
Love with lashings of prodigal abandon.

HOW I LOVE YOU, WOR

I was in Roma with Dad and my brother Wor
In February 2007 and sometimes I call Wor Pugins
And then we saw a bus coming along heading for
Puglia and I burst out laughing.

HYMN

I should like to sing a hymn.
I should like to sing it in praise of Mary.
I had a setback
But it is becoming okay.

LUNAR ENERGY

It is coming through an atmospheric interstice.
Divine comprehensive lunar energy.
I feel a healing through this land.
Cover me fast (swaying pull).

THE ISLAND

The Island is one of my favourite films.
Simple people live in a kind of laboratory facility
And there is this lottery and they are promised that they will be going
To The Island which is meant to be beyond belief and fantastic.
But whenever a person is taken away to The Island
They are clandestinely murdered and butchered.

A man and woman from this horrible facility
Find a way out of the hellhole in question
When they (they aren't meant to see)
Spot a butterfly escaping through a hatch.

They lead the rest of the facility people to freedom in the civilised world
And then the corrupt killing/slaughtering institution and its wicked leaders are exposed.

THE TRAPPINGS OF UNPUBLISHED VERSE

I remember reading that poem to you, my old friend,
As we sat in front of a screen in the foreign university.
Yet you it was who introduced me to cannabis (I hold nothing against you,
Nothing in the least now) and soon the Poem was to unravel
Into just trappings of the man I should have been. The university of life was
Soon to bequeath me her own (unpublished) verse.

TO THE LADY O'BRIEN

My precious beloved one. I am sorry??
For speaking down to a woman.
You are a total lady and I love you so much.
Thank you for being my friend because you are really cool and it is great to hear from you and from your sweet heart.

WOLF

Wolf:
The tears they soaked your fur;
The blood dripped from your fangs...
You loved that lamb

YOU SUPERSWEET PET

How I love you, pet.
You are a lovely lady and I miss your kind smile.
You are extremely beautiful
And you have a shining personality.

ZENNING

Zenning down the highway skyline
I find myself with aforethought happy and blithe
And we are waltzing and careering
Like there is no 2moro.
