I went to college, got a degree (Irish & English) but I haven't read at all as many books as I ought to have. Beside the books that were necessary for me to complete my college course I haven't read many books since that time. Books I do like though include The Imitation of Christ by Father Thomas à Kempis (a lovely read and it has sold more copies than one book only, the Bible) The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman (stumbled across this at gutenberg.org) and She by H. Rider Haggard (this was on my college course). I devoured books when I was young but nowadays I prefer watching movies to reading books; and my favourite hobby is listening to music. I read and listen to the Bible (KJV). Take for example William Godwin - Caleb Williams. What an opening line: "My life has for several years been a theatre of calamity." Famous line indeed.
